As Lead Pastor, Adam serves to equip and send the saints. He has a passion and burden to see the church reformed and encouraged in the fullness of Christ. Adam has a great revelation, or understanding of scripture, and has been gifted to deposit scriptural truths into ones spirit. He will encourage you to be the "self-expression of the image of God that you are."
Adam has embarked on a Kingdom journey ever since the audible calling he received from the Lord. At age 16, Adam heard audibly that he was to become a Pastor. This sparked to a greater measure at Millersville University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art. Adam then began his Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY and accomplished his degree at Evangelical Theological Seminary in Myerstown, PA, while employed as Youth Pastor at Praise. During his tenure at Praise, Adam has been pursuing his passion and is pioneering what it might look like to be the 21st Century Church. His greatest burden is to see the Church become known for:
A demonstration of power in-place of limitation.
Acts of service among the needy in-place of budgets, buildings, and programs.
Unity among local churches in-place of division.
Grace filled in-place of judgement.
Brian, his wife, Nicole, and two daughters, Emma and Lily, reside in Northern York. Brian has achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, with a minor in Psychology from Millersville University. He furthered his studies at Asbury Theological Seminary obtaining his Masters in Counseling. He then became the Director of Youth and Intergenerational Ministries immediately after his time at Asbury where he served as both the junior high and senior high youth pastor at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. One of his responsibilities was to provide opportunities for the generations at First Lutheran to fellowship together and share faith in relationships.
Brian’s proudest moment in ministry was creating an interdenominational worship service for senior high students in Mifflinburg called IGNITE Student Ministries. It was at IGNITE where students from different denominations came together in unity to worship God. Not too long ago, the Spirit fell on the students both at IGNITE and in Sunday school where there was a four hour visitation that changed the students lives.
Brian also participates in services for Messiah College students, Red Lion High School students, Dallastown Intermediate School, and carries on different conferences and speaking engagements throughout the year. Brian also released his first book, "First Dance" in November 2011. His book is available on-line or in the Praise Office.
Brian’s wife, Nicole, is currently the Children's Outreach Director here at Praise. Nicole is very excited to expand the touch of Christ into the children of our community.
